Mission: To enrich student lives by the development of artistry in the performance of string instruments, to perform orchestra music in and outside the community, and through this process gain an appreciation for the Arts and each other as students work together towards these common goals.
Program: The Orchestra program offers students the opportunity to learn and to develop their skills in the performance of violin, viola, cello, or string bass. At the MS level (6-8) there is an orchestra for each grade. Classes are 43 minutes and meet everyday. At the HS level, there are two orchestras: a String and Chamber Orchestra. The Chamber Orchestra is an audition based ensemble. Each class meets everyday for 85 minutes.
